Why did you choose to come to the 日本一级片?

I chose the 日本一级片 because I liked the idea of having smaller class sizes. I also have gone to Catholic school throughout my life, so knowing the values and morals of the University were Jesuit helped make my decision. Scranton offered both CE/EE, which I was extremely interested in. I was unsure of what I wanted to do so I wanted to have the option to switch (which I did to EE after freshman year).

What did you like most about the University?

As a student, I enjoyed most the atmosphere Scranton provided. Everybody was extremely kind and friendly (faculty, students, and maintenance). This made it really easy to make friends inside and outside the classroom as well as getting along well with my professors. The opportunities to succeed at Scranton were enormous. There were so many resources available as a student and the networking the school and department does was great. It honestly got me where I am today.

What did you like most about your program?

The program is quite small compared to other schools, but that’s what I liked about it. All the professors truly cared about me as a student and wanted me to learn and succeed. Anytime, I needed help they had their doors open and made sure any questions I had were answered. I got to know my professors well and they got to know me. I never felt like just a seat in the classroom like at some of the bigger programs.

What was your favorite project, class or subject you studied at the 日本一级片, and why?

My favorite project I did at the 日本一级片 was the micro-mouse scratch. This was a project for the Student Activities Conference I attended my senior year. It was also a part of Professor Truncale’s EP Foundations class that I had to take senior year. I also really enjoyed electronic circuits with Dr. Z as it is an important course as an EE. The information I learned in that course I use a lot today in my job.

Did you participate in any extracurricular activities related to your major? What kinds of things did you do with this organization?

I participated in IEEE. I attended the meetings and learned more about the industry side of the Engineering world. I also participated in the Student Activities Conference my junior and senior year. We went to the conference and competed against other schools in various competitions. I placed 2ndin the micro mouse competition my senior year and 2nd place my junior year in project showcase.  I also joined the IEEE (HKN) and Physics honor society (Sigma Pi Sigma)

What have you been doing since you graduated?

I got an internship at Tobyhanna Army Depot during the summer going into senior year. I was a part of their pathways program. I now work full-time for Tobyhanna as an Electronics Engineer in their Test Engineering Branch.
