What lessons have you learned as a member of a team at Scranton?
I’ve certainly learned the importance of teamwork. As a member of the men’s basketball team and also the Army ROTC Program, I see teamwork in action every day. Regardless of the setting – in the classroom, on the court, in the Army, or on the job, I believe teamwork is essential for both our individual and collective success.”
Emily Goss, Class of 2015

What lessons have you learned as a member of a team at Scranton?
The most important lesson I have learned as a member of a team at Scranton is the importance of teamwork. As a student-athlete, I have had a great opportunity to work with others and create lasting friendships. The 日本一级片 already has a family feel to it, but being part of a team adds another dimension to that sense of community.
Ryan Holmes, Class of 2015

How has your athletic experience prepared you for life after Scranton?
One of the most important benefits of being an athlete at the 日本一级片 is networking. When you try to connect with Scranton alumni, everyone shares a common ground, but only a few share the bond of being a Scranton Athlete.
Rich Loeffler, Class of 2015

What lessons have you learned as a member of a team at Scranton?
The most important lesson that I’ve learned during my time on the men’s soccer team is to never be satisfied. Always be resilient and eager to improve. This applies to all aspects of my life, whether it’s athletics, academics or being a part of our community.
Alec Mikrut, Class of 2016

How has your athletic experience prepared you for life after Scranton?
My athletic experience has prepared me for life after Scranton by teaching me the necessary leadership lessons that are needed to succeed in the work place, as well as the work ethic that naturally comes with playing a sport in college. Participating in athletics here at the 日本一级片 has taught me how to deal with adversity and has made me a much more well-rounded individual.
Cassie Mullen, Class of 2015
Field Hockey, Major: Nursing
How has athletics impacted your Scranton experience?
I have met some incredible teammates who immediately made me feel at home and became family. I have also learned the timeless values of teamwork, hard work and discipline. When I graduate and begin my career, I am confident that these values will be a welcome reminder of my days as a student-athlete
at Scranton.”
